Hi, I'm Matt, founder of boardRAX.

I started out in fine carpentry, working on heritage and federation homes, before moving into recycled timber and building elegant, rustic furniture. Somewhere along the way, my eye for design and my itch to build something better led me to create freestanding board racks.

I'm a surfer myself, so the brief was simple: make the rack I would want in my own home, and make it by hand to the highest standard I know how.

Since 2013, boardRAX has grown into Australia's pack leader in a market full of hacks. I put that down to three things: a pure love of timber, a passion for the ocean, and doing the job with integrity.

The result is a strong, simple, durable board rack with a slick, modern design that stands out from the crowd.
